Once the application committee completes their review of applications, all decisions are final and not eligible for appeal.
ELIGIBILITY
Financial Aid Requirements:
- All student applicants MUST receive financial aid from Penn and have a family total income between $75,001 and $140,000 (as determined by Student Financial Aid)
- Student applicants need to be receiving institutional aid and must meet minimum level of aid to be considered for funding
- Students who are Highly Aided (receiving financial aid from Penn and family income less than $75,000) should apply through the Highly Aided Summer Funding program, not through Career Services (https://srfs.upenn.edu/financial-aid/highly-aided/summer)
*RESEARCH UPDATE as of March 26, 2025: In light of recent updates, research opportunities at the University of Pennsylvania or Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania are now eligible for consideration of funding through Career Services. Non-Penn research opportunities continue to be eligible for consideration. If you have specific questions or concerns, please reach out to Ella Studdiford at ellastud@upenn.edu.
Summer opportunities through GRIP and PURM are not eligible to receive additional funding through this program. Please visit the Find Funding section of the Career Services website (Find Funding – Career Services | University of Pennsylvania) for additional funding resources.
Students who have already received $5,000 or more from other Penn summer funding programs for Summer 2025 are not eligible to receive funding through the 2025 Career Services Summer Funding program.
