For those who submit after the initial May 30 deadline:
You will still be offered a consultation meeting to discuss your application and intentions, but you will not be assigned a fellowship advisor as advisor slots will be filled. You will still be eligible to submit your completed application for Penn nomination for the Rhodes and Marshall Scholarships. The internal application will open on the Penn portal during the week of June 9. The internal deadline for nomination is August 1.
Please remember that you must be nominated by Penn in order to apply through the official Rhodes and Marshall websites.
These questions are entirely NON-EVALUATIVE. Your responses will not be used to select you for nomination or to screen out your potential applications. They are intended to help you GET STARTED and help us guide you toward appropriate opportunities. The questions are designed to help you advance your thinking by writing your current thoughts on your goals, interests, experiences, and aspirations (which may change during the application process). Please respond to each question below. There is no word limit. The more you tell us, the richer the conversation will be. The most important thing is taking the first step of GETTING STARTED WRITING.
Spring Fellowships Consultations are for students planning to commence graduate study or a post-graduation fellowship in Fall 2026.
